Synopsis:
It’s under the leadership of Robert Giraud, that lonely tormented soul Robert Doisneau from Limousin discovered the picturesque universe from Les Halles and many Parisian cafés.
This film relates the strange itinerary of this independent writer, journalist for ”l’Auvergnat de Paris” which all along his life, insisted on focusing his passion on Parisian slang and explore specific universe of creation such as the art of tattooing.
In this film we find him again with Robert Doisneau and various testimonies come to brighten his life and his work.
Such people as, Roland Dumas his childhood friend, Alain Jessua the film maker, Alphonse Boudard and Claude Duneton the writers try to define his disconcerting talent, always listening to friendship and anger.
